Get Rid of Lower Belly Fat

Recommended Product for Lower Belly FatAre you trying to get rid of lower belly fat?  Not an easy task, I know, but these five tips should give you good start to slim down.

First, don’t expect to change your whole life around overnight. Remember what I said on the front page of this site?  The best way for lasting change is the kaizen way.  That is to say, that small incremental changes that quickly get incorporated into habits are the best way to make improvements in your life.  Think about it.  It takes effort to keep up with a fiercely aggressive new workout program, but it’s easy to run in place during commercial breaks when you are watching TV.

Studies show that you need to keep doing something every day for 21 to 30 days before it becomes a habit.  Do you have enough will power to keep up with an aggressive workout plan for 30 days?  If not, try something simpler like going for a ten minute walk after each meal.

Second, stay away from environments that encourage you to eat a lot. Avoid buffets, Don’t go to restaurants where they give you enormous portions that even a full-grown dinosaur couldn’t finish.  And tactfully decline dinners with friends that may make you feel guilty for not eating every last dollop of food they scoop onto your plate.

Third, to get rid of lower belly fat, you must curb your cravings. When you go to the grocery store, buy foods like vegetables, proteins, and things that are high in fiber.  Fiber is essential because it fills you up fast, makes you feel full for longer, and it also aids in digestion.

Fourth, never let your workout plan stagnate. You should always be changing it up so that you work different parts of your body.  This keeps your muscles continually rebuilding themselves so that your metabolism will be burning high and melting away your body’s reserves of fat.  Add more sets or decrease the time between sets.  This will stimulate your muscles differently and keep you feeling the burn.

Lastly, and this one is important, if you want to get rid of lower belly fat, don’t waste your time on sit ups, ab crunches, or the like. These will strengthen your stomach muscles, yes.  But they will not help youget rid of lower belly fat .  You just can’t target weight loss to specific areas by doing specific exercises.  You have to lose weight on your whole body overall.  Instead, focus on cardio exercises such as running, biking, or swimming to help you lose overall body fat.  Simultaneously, you can do resistance training to help build some muscles that will help you burn excess calories and boost your metabolism.

There you go.  By instead focusing on overall weight loss, you’ll find that you will not only be slimmer, trimmer, and healthier, but you’ll also get rid of lower belly fat in the works as well.
